Are you new to Palmerdale? We know it can feel overwhelming visiting a new church. Hopefully we can help with that by letting you know a little about us.
At Palmerdale Methodist, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. That may sound like something that could be said at any number of churches, so what does that really look like at Palmerdale? We are a community of believers worshiping together, studying scripture together, and serving our communities together.
On Sunday mornings we worship together. Our early service begins at 8:30 in the worship center. We worship with contemporary music led by our awesome praise team. People dress as they feel comfortable. Children’s church is available for kids 4 years old through 3rd grade. Of course, children are always welcome in our services!
Our late service begins at 10:45 in the sanctuary. This is our more traditional service. Worship is led by our choir. Although the worship style is more traditional, people still dress as they feel comfortable. Instead of children’s church, our children’s pastor leads a Children’s Minute in the service.
We study scripture together every Sunday morning at 9:45 through a variety of Bible studies for all ages!
Do you have children or youth? We have very active children’s and youth ministries that meet on Sunday mornings and at other times for special events. Youth also meet Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. We serve our communities together in so many ways! We have ministries that help feed the hungry in our communities; ministries that provide clothing for those in need; ministries that serve children who have been abused and neglected; and so much more! Throughout the year we have an incredible number of ways to reach out to those in need.
